| Naturopathic medicine is a complementary and alternative medicine. Naturopathic practice may include a broad array of different modalities, including manual therapy, hydrotherapy, herbalism, acupuncture, counseling, environmental medicine, aromatherapy, orthomolecular medicine, nutritional counseling, homeopathy, and so on. Practitioners tend to emphasize a holistic approach to patient care. Naturopathy has its origins in a variety of world medicine practices, including the Ayurveda of India and Nature Cure of Europe. It is today practiced in many countries around the world in one form or another, where it is subject to different standards of regulation and levels of acceptance. | Homeopathic remedies are made from substances that, in undiluted form, cause symptoms similar to the disease they aim to treat. These substances are serially diluted, with shaking at each stage, that homeopaths believe removes side-effects from those that may be toxic, "adds to their power to stimulate a response", and "develops the special properties of the remedy" - even in those that are chemically inert or past the point where any molecules of the original substance remain. The therapeutic applications of the remedies used in homeopathy are recorded in homeopathic materia medica, and practitioners select treatments according to a patient consultation that explores both the physical and psychological state of the patient. | |

| Bioenergetic Analysis is an important part of body psychotherapy (body-oriented psychotherapy) based on the expression of feelings and the re-establishment of energy flow in the body. Recognises several clearly circumscribed human character structures, each able to be "read" in the form and posture of the individual's body: schizoid, oral, masochistic, psychopathic, rigid and narcissistic. Bioenergetic treatment involves the adoption of one of a number of "stress positions" designed to promote confronting the individual with his or her structure, and the repressed emotions holding it together. Bioenergetic Analysis is practised as an individual and as a group psychotherapy. | Kinesiology is a natural therapy that differs from kinesiology the physical study of human movement and mechanics. The principle of holistic kinesiology is based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine element theories of the acupuncture meridians, Yin / Yang balance and the 5 element theory of balance and change, linked to the manual muscle testing of a muscle or organ link to test the flow of Qi in the patien´s system. | |
